I am a  Chemical Engineer with an MBA of strategic management. I started his career as Commissioning Engineer in the nuclear recycling industry, with high technology equipment. Then I moved to Saft and am still working for, since 1989.

Successively I have been in charge of equipment design and plant operations for Nickel-Cadmium chemical processes. I moved overseas for 3 years to be in charge of Quality assurance. Back in France I took the responsibility of a business unit making primary batteries. Today, I am in charge of marine systems for Saft.


Many technologies exist , with different characteristics performances and behavior. This presentation will explain the performances , lifetime and safety of SLFP batteries.
